Newtons Nook Designs November Release - Day 1

Welcome to Day 1 of Newtons Nook Designs November Release! Today, we are showcasing "Jolly Tags". Which also comes with coordinating Purr-fect Dies. Which are very easy to use. With or without the stamp set.   I went ahead and stamped out the cute penguin, because by now you should know my obsession with them.  With a craft knife I hand cut out his tummy to make a window for a shaker element.  I used micro beads, and there are a few curse words to be said when using them.....lol   While they look great, the are have static and cling to everything and one wrong move and they spill everywhere.  

I can't wait to put this tag on a special package for that special someone!

DIY Planner Stickers featuring My Style Stamps

Planner stuff!!!!!  Yup! Yup!!  I wanted to create some more DIY Stickers for some TV shows I watch, blogy stuff and working out!  So, I grabbed my My Style Stamps Planner sets, which you can get here.  

I really loved how The Walking Dead stickers came out with the red splatters!  Muwhahaha!!!

Happy Haunts Card

Happy Thursday!!!  Today, I am here with a card featuring Newton's Nook Designs stamps.  For this card I used "Pick A Pumpkin" and " Spooky Street" you can get both sets in the NND Store. 

Right now I am currently in love with using Distress Spray Stains.  They blend with no effort and they way they react with water splats and other sprays is amazing!  I used Black Archival Ink so there is no bleeding of the stamped images after I spray them.  Doesn't matter how wet you get it, it doesn't bleed. 

I used the coordinating "Pick A Pumpkin Purr-fect Dies" to cut out the pumpkin.  This makes life so much easier.  So, head on over to the NND store and get you some fun halloween goodies!

Lawnscaping Challenge #116

Happy Monday!!!  It's almost that time to dress up in your favorite costume, just like this youngster Yeti!  lol  Even he is all ready to trick or treat.   They new Lawnscaping Challenge #116 is Too Cute to Spook and I hope you play along!  

On to the card!  I used my Distress Spray Stains to create a sunset background.  I know when I was little kid I couldn't wait till dark.  I stamped the yeti on some metallic white paper and colored him with alcohol based markers.  To get the glow effect on the pumpkin and the glow stick I just used a yellow highlighter.

Newtons Nook Designs Holiday Release - Day 4

Welcome to Day 4 of the Newton's Nook Designs Holiday Release. Today we are featuring " Fox Hollow".  This set is adorable to the max and to top it off it has MATCHING PURR-FECT DIES too!  Don't worry about having to fussy cut those little guys. ;-)

For this card I used some distress stains for the background and splattered some Heidi Swapp Gold Mist while it was still wet. since the mist has water in it, the spray stain acted accordingly and pushed the color away from the splatter spots to create a cool night sky.

Newton's Nook Designs Holiday Release - Day 3

Welcome to Day 3 of Newton's Nook Designs Holiday Release!!  I hope you are super inspired with what you have seen so far.  Today, we are featuring "Newton's Christmas Cuddles" and the Purr-fect Dies.  

For this card I used a piece of the same background from my Penguin card on Monday.  I thought it made a great night sky.  I added some light gold stars with a stencil and Viva Inka Gold.  As for the kitties I watercolored them with my Kuretake water colors.
