Hey ya'll nothing like a last minute post!!! I have to be truthful, the card was done when the challenge was first released...I totally thought I passed the due date. But, there is 2 hrs left!  So, I am getting this up real quick.  I decided to put my own swing on the Stars & Stripe Challenge from Lawnscaping.

Newton's Nook Designs June Release - Day 2

Welcome back to Day 2 of the Newton's Nook Designs June Release!  Today, has gone to the dogs!!  Yup, a fun dog set for all you puppy lovers out there!

Fetching Friends | Newton's Nook Designs

For my card I cut out the fun bones from my Silhouette Cameo. I colored the doggie to look like a chocolate lab.  I placed a piece of vellum behind the die cuts for some separation between the background.

Newton's Nook Deisgns June Release - Day 1

Welcome to the June release for Newton's Nook Designs. You are going to flip over these new stamp sets.  Today, we are taking a look at "In Slow Motion".  This set features a bunch of amazingly cute animals.

In Slow Motion | Newton's Nook Designs

I had to get my paws inky with the sloth image. He is just so dang cute.  I used a stencil to create the cloud background with some distress ink and a blending tool. Then I copic colored the sloth and added some dots for texture.

Create A Smile Guest Designer Call for July

Hey my crafty people!!!!  Today, I am here with a card for the Create A Smile Guest Designer Search for July!  This card is great for the Coffee Lovers Blog Hop as well on Friday!!

I started off coloring the cute coffee mug I embossed it so I could do some Distress Watercoloring.  I love embossing before watercoloring, it helps keep the color in the different sections.  Then, on the chevron patterned paper I embossed with clear powder the word "coffee" over and over. To incorporate the tiny pink heart I sprayed some October Afternoon mist directly on the card base.  I topped it off with some matching enamel dots and a sentiment.

You Are My Sunshine

Happy Hump Day!!  I am here with another layout for Studio 29 Designs!  I am trying to use my May 2015 Kits (but, I still want to hoard them!!).

You Are My Sunshine | Studio 29 Designs | created by Danielle Pandeline

You can see below I cut around and tucked part of a 3 x 4 card under a photos to just have the cloud and sentiment poking out.  Then I paired it with a sticker to complete the phrase.  The story behind the photo is our cat Nash races through the house and well...will run in to doors and the wall, basically what ever is in his way. So, one day we noticed he had a fat lower lip.  He must of banged himself up good. Thus, Chris decided to mock him and I snapped the pic.

The letter stickers are great for adding the tiny touches and facts about the image or event.  I added some white spray with a paint brush around the edges to complete the layout.
