Flying by to say Thanks!

Hello my Newton-ites! Today, I am here with a card to inspire you.   I used the Newtons Nook Designs Winged Wishes stamp set to create this fun easy to reproduce card!  I started with some fun colorful patterned paper.  Then for the cloud strip in the middle. It's vellum! Yep, I dry embossed and then hit it with some distress ink to create a soft blue look.  After that I stamped out the cutest little birds and the Thanks Banner and fussy cut that out.  For and added touch of softness I glued some pink and white twine over the string in the image.

I hope this card has brought you some inspiration! I know I love seeing what everyone else creates on the web!

Be sure to check back next week for the April New Release for Newton's Nook Designs!

Lawnscaping Challenge #69 - Sentiment

Today, I played along with the Lawnscaping Challenge!  I really needed to make a Thank You card for a friend of my dad's in Pittsburgh.  He goes to all the hockey games and gives all the Pittsburgh Penguins Memorabilia to my dad to give to me. (since I have to be the BIGGEST Penguins fan in Florida)  I am very thankful for his generosity.  Thus, why this card had a penguin on it saying Greetings from Florida.  It all makes sense now doesn't it!

Well since I got some new Hero Arts stamps the other day at Stamp & Deliver in South Daytona, FL I just had to use them!
