I just love the colors over at The Play Date Cafe this week. They are very tropical and summer-y. I just want to grab a margarita and head to the beach! Ok enough day dreaming now! lol  I need to make a birthday card and decided these colors would be perfect!  I hope you like my card!

Pinspired Challenge #5

The other day I was "Skype Scrapping" with my bestie in South Carolina. We were working on challenges. It helps to get some cards stacked up for future use! This way I always have a card always available.  So I was inspired by the octagon shape and the colors in the Pinspired Challenge, who wouldn't be? Right? I decided to break out my Sweet Stamp Shop stamps that I hadn't gotten inky yet. I had fun combining the colors to get a great effect.

Lawnscaping Challenge #53 - Texture

Well, Lawnscaping Challenge, you challenged me to make my card with texture and I gave it you! With a bang! lol So, I hadn't gotten my new Lawn Fawn stamps inky yet! I know, what am I thinking. I took out my new stamps and starred at them for a while. I knew I wanted to make that zebra pink and white. Since the card would be from a Woman to a Man.  Then "BANG" it came to me.....i'm going to make grass from Lawn Trimmings. I sprayed the Trimmings with Mr. Huey's to make it green.

Mama Elephant Challenge #2

YAY! Another Mama Elephant Sketch Challenge!!!  I can't tell you how much I love Mama Elephant stamps. They are so cute and clever! I just can't get enough. So, I decided to play their challenge while I was at last weekends Community Crop & Craft in DeBary, FL. I had a blast!!! I got a lot done too! What more can you ask for 3 days of cropping with the best people around! Any-who!

Here's my card! I had to photograph it outside to show off the SHINE!

I used Heidi Swapp's Color Shine in Primrose over a Studio Calico Mask. I just love Color Shine!!! Bouns, you can get it at M's with  a coupon!!  Here is a Comparison Video I did on the mist's I own. I hope this helps you make a decision.
