Now on to the project!!! I really wanted to do something different and create an ornament for the occasion.
First, I used Beacon Glitter Glue to coat the inside of the ornament with a clear glitter and let dry. Next, I decided to stamp the cute little penguin from Snow Day on to vellum with some Staz On Ink. With a steady hand you can get a great image that will not rub off! Then I colored him with Faber Castell India Ink Markers they are permanent when dry. Next is the tricky part....how do I adhere him on without seeing any glue. This little guy fits in the Xyron "X" Sticker Maker and puts a nice thin coat of adhesive on the back. PERFECT!
Then, I decided to use more Staz On Ink in Blue for the snowflakes. The next hurdle was.....hmmmm.... I really want some snow on the ornament...I wonder if the Snow Pen or Liquid Applique will stick to the glass ornament??? Well, it DOES!! You just have to do sections at a time so they don't dry before you hit them with the heat gun.
