You're Super

Hi all!  I have some news to tell you all.  This will be my last post for Newtons Nook Designs.  Yes, NND is getting some fresh and new talent!!!  I can't wait to see who they pic.  It has been a great 3 years with Newtons Nook. I have to say has been one of the nicest and most organized Design Team I have ever been on. I was very lucky this year to meet a few team mates in person at CHA (which was awesome).

So, I decided to make this card for my teamies!!!!  You all are SUPER in my book!  I will miss you all, but thankfully we have Facebook to keep in touch.

Be sure to join the Newtons Nook Designs Create and Share Facebook group to see lots of inspiration from the Design Team and Friends!

Thanks for stopping by!

Newtons Nook Designs - Deck The Halls with Inky Paws

Hey! Happy Friday. Welcome to the Newtons Nook Designs Deck the Halls with Inky Paws Blog Hop!  You should of come from Stephanie Muzzulin's Blog. If you didn't you might want to start from the very beginning at Newton's Nook Designs

For my card I used the Festive Forest stamp set and embossed it with gold powder.  Then I got all messy with the Ken Oliver Color Bursts.  I wanted to keep the focus on the watercolor and embossing so I paired it with some text paper and old stool rickrack  It's like old meets new??

Newtons Nook Designs Inky Paws Challenge #38

Happy Friday!!!  It's time for another Inky Paws Challenge by Newtons Nook Designs.  I just love the color combo for this challenge. That pop of teal with traditional holiday colors is amazing.

Sweater Weather Newton | Newtons Nook Designs | Created by Danielle Pandeline

For this card I paper pieced Newton from the Sweater Weather set.  I haven't done that in a long time, I decided to bring back on old technique. I kept Newton white and added some light grey shadows to him.  I also dug out another oldie...remember Stickles? Yep, I dug mine out to add a glittery snow hill to my scene.  Sometimes it's nice to use old stuff and remember why you bought it in the first place.

Thanks for stopping by! I hope you play along in the Inky Paws Challenge.

Gone to the Beach Love Santa

Happy Thursday!!!!  Today, I bring you a clean and simple holiday card.  This one is perfect for the warmer states. lol  I used the flip flops and sentiment from Sun Soaked Christmas.  It's been hot here in Florida we have only had a few days of cooler weather.  So it's safe to say, santa gone to the beach for sure.

I colored up the flip flops and paired it with some embossed vellum featuring a wave pattern.  I tore the edge of the vellum to mimic the way the ocean washes up on shore.  This card is easy to mass produce for the holidays.

I hope you enjoyed my Clean and Simple card. Thanks for stopping by!
