Newtons Nook Designs Inky Paws Challenge #38

Happy Friday!!!  It's time for another Inky Paws Challenge by Newtons Nook Designs.  I just love the color combo for this challenge. That pop of teal with traditional holiday colors is amazing.

Sweater Weather Newton | Newtons Nook Designs | Created by Danielle Pandeline

For this card I paper pieced Newton from the Sweater Weather set.  I haven't done that in a long time, I decided to bring back on old technique. I kept Newton white and added some light grey shadows to him.  I also dug out another oldie...remember Stickles? Yep, I dug mine out to add a glittery snow hill to my scene.  Sometimes it's nice to use old stuff and remember why you bought it in the first place.

Thanks for stopping by! I hope you play along in the Inky Paws Challenge.

Gone to the Beach Love Santa

Happy Thursday!!!!  Today, I bring you a clean and simple holiday card.  This one is perfect for the warmer states. lol  I used the flip flops and sentiment from Sun Soaked Christmas.  It's been hot here in Florida we have only had a few days of cooler weather.  So it's safe to say, santa gone to the beach for sure.

I colored up the flip flops and paired it with some embossed vellum featuring a wave pattern.  I tore the edge of the vellum to mimic the way the ocean washes up on shore.  This card is easy to mass produce for the holidays.

I hope you enjoyed my Clean and Simple card. Thanks for stopping by!

Serene Silhouettes | Newtons Nook Designs | Card Created by Danielle Pandeline

I created a cool background using my spray stains, you all should know they are my go to for backgrounds!  I embossed the birch trees with silver embossing powder and die cut them out with the coordinating dies.  Then instead of stamping and die cutting the bears out. I just used the die cuts.

Welcome to Day 2 of the Newtons Nook Designs November Release. Today, we are featuring 2 stamp sets. Sweater Weather with all of Newtons friends getting in on the fun and Fireside Friends.

Sweater Weather | Newtons Nook Designs | Created by Danielle Pandeline

For the Sweater Weather Card I created my own background with the mittens and snowflakes. I then added Winston peaking out from a tag from the Joyful Tags set reveled yesterday.

Fireside Friends | Newtons Nook Designs | Created by Danielle Pandeline

For Fireside Friends, I colored up the pile of animals, lol!  Die cut them out added a warm plaid background to them and placed them on a shiny embossed piece of card stock that you might recognize from a previous card.   I love using my scraps!

Hi folks!!! Today, I am here with a fun Christmas card featuring and digital image from Kitty Bee Designs.  Meet Reindeer Christmas Penguin! He's so freaking cute!

I colored up this cute guy and placed him with some simple die cuts to make him stand out from the amazing patterned paper. To finish off the card I used a bit of washi tape, some enamel dots and glitter pen. That I HATE that you can never see in the photographs. Grrrr...

Well, I hope you enjoyed my card. Thanks for stopping by!

Newtons Nook Designs November Release - Day 1

Welcome to Day 1 of the Newtons Nook Designs November Release. Today, we are featuring Joyful Tags. This stamp set coordinates with the Tags times 2 die set, that you may already own in your collection.

For this card I just sprayed some fun colorful sprays on to white cardstock and cut the tag out. I mimicked the present theme with the paper and then the twine to make the whole card look like a present with a tag on it. This is a super cute and easy card to mass produce.

Newtons Nook Designs Holiday Release - Day 4

Welcome to Day 4 of Newtons Nook Designs Holiday Release. Today, we are showcasing Ornamental Newton and Festive Forest.    Ornamental Newton is a great set to feature an action wobble!  Which I did. I colored up Newton with copic markers and used the coordinating dies to purr-featly cut him out.  I embossed the metallic card stock and added some washi tape to keep the focus on Newton.

We are also showcasing Festive Forest and matching dies. This set is amazing!  It's great for cards, tags, bags and more! I ended up stamping the trees out in several different greens and thew in a pop of silver. I die cut them out with the coordinating dies and had me a card in a few minutes!

Kitty Bee Designs October Spotlight Post

Happy Tuesday! Today, I am showcasing my October DT Spotlight post for Kitty Bee Designs.  I used the Two of Hearts Raccoon Image that yo can get here.

I colored him up with copic markers and placed him on my card with an old cut out from a Dear Lizzy patterned paper (shhh... I like to hoard things).  I spritzed my background with some Sprays and added some patterned papers.

I love this cute raccoon so much. He is very versatile for a Valentines Day card, or just a random Love you card.  Thanks for stopping by!
