Newtons Nook Designs - 4 year Anniversary Hop

Hey crafty friends! Long time no crafty!  I glad to be back to celebrate Newtons Nook Designs 4 years of Inky Paws!!!  It has been amazing to see NND grow over the years.  I got to play with Cosmic Newton and Starfield Stencil they obviously work well together.

For my background I used my Distress Stain Sprays to create the galaxy. Then I used the Starfield Stencil with Pearlescent Embossing Paste for some extra twinkle.  I kept it simple with the sentiment to help make Newton and the background shine. Topped it off with sequins and BAM your DONE!

Lawn Fawnatics - Happy Birthday Challenge #1

I am so excited to be playing along with the very first Lawn Fawnatics Challenge!!!!  Happy Birthday 7th Birthday to Lawn Fawn.  I've been a Fawnatic since the start.  I created this cute frenchie bulldog card from the Critters at the Dog Park stamp set and dies.  My MIL just got a new puppy a frenchie, so I had to create a matching birthday card for her.

To create this card I blended some broken china Distress Ink for the background and used a grass sticker from Recollections.  I need to get  the Lawn Fawn Grass die for my collection!  I colored up my dogie and added the sentiment. To top it off I added a couple of sequins from my stash.

I hope you enjoyed this card I created.

2017 Spring Coffee Lovers Blog Hop

Happy Spring!!! It's that time of year again for the Spring Coffee Lovers Blog Hop.   I hope you are sipping on your favorite cup of joe or tea. Mmmm.......   I just love this blog hop. It allows me to create what ever I want with some stamps that haven't seen daylight in a while. LOL.

For this card I used the Tim Holtz Fresh Brewed stamps.  I just love the sketchy aspect of them.  So, I just stamped them around for my background. Splattered some different color fun spring colored sprays. Then, used a cut out from some old Dear Lizzy paper, yup using up my stash!!!!  Then added some fun Coffee washi tape from hobby lobby and a wooden "Hi" veneer to make this card versatile.

This guy is super versitile you can add any sentiment and lots of accessories. I used the sentiment from a Lawn Fawn stamp set.

I kept this card simple created some rolling hills to ground this guy and focused on the color palette. I topped the card off with some clear glitter pen and a splatter of White Mr. Huey's spray.
