Black Friday Craziness!

So, who else was crazy and went to Wal Mart at Midnight or earlier? I got there at 11pm with my sweet Auntie who wanted to see the chaos in person! At my Wal Mart the Craft area is in the back near the Electronics, which is not a good spot during Black Friday! We arrived and there were a few other ladies waiting for the palettes of Cricut Expressions and Cartridges to arrive! Minutes later they came rolling on up (see above photo). After the workers set them in place, we drooled all over them. I was only after the new cartridges. I kneeled down in front of where the carts were and found the ones I needed (got one for Sam my bestie over at Sam's Scrap Candy), though they were still behind the plastic wrap :-\ another lady was like I'm going in and getting what I want. On my side the plastic wrap had a huge hole in it and the carts had already fallen of the hooks. So, sweet auntie says get the carts and hand them to me. I hand her two carts and I have the third and she states lets go! This is all you wanted? (We weren't suppose to get them yet). It's only 11:30pm and now we wait! Yes, we had to wait until 12:01am to check out. Finally, we got inline behind another couple that already had items that were on the shelves and not out in the palettes. I figured were safe now. Earlier, I had seen the workers running tape along the tops of the palettes so people couldn't start taking stuff early. The New York Auntie wins and we were out of Wal Mart at 12:03am and home by 12:18am cause the police had the road blocked near our house and we had to go the long way home!

What did you venture out for on Black Friday?

Gobble...Gobble....Wobble...Wobble...

It's almost Turkey Day!!!!!! Time to eat, sleep and eat some more!!!!! I can't wait! My work holds a "Pilgrim Style" feast! A bunch of tables in a long row, outside in what I hope is good weather. We Give Thanks and eat, then some reside inside and watch Football, while others enjoy the weather and go for hay rides, go-kart rides, sack races, and more! I love that it is so different then the normal eat and sleep routine!!!

On to the card! I know a lot of us received our Action Wobble Samples in the mail last week and I am in love! Showing them to anyone I can!!! I can't wait to "wobble" everything!!! Since, I saw Momo, from Made by Momo demo the new product, I decided to use it on a card for her "Turkey" challenge!

Fundraiser Crop @ Heritige Middle School

Yesterday, I went to a Fundraiser Crop at Heritage Middle School in Deltona, FL. The crop was held in the schools Media Center, which was great! We all had our own table with plenty of space to spread out. There was a community Sizzix Machine with several dies to chose from, a stack of freebie patterned paper and Pizza! It was $20 for the day, which included your lunch, some freebies and a gift prize at the end! It was great to meet new scrappers in the area, they plan to do it again in January after the holidays, I can't wait! I only took a few pics and made 3 cards and did some die cutting for future projects! I'll post the cards later since they are for challenges :-)

Enjoy!

More Stuff from the 12 hour Crop

Wow!! Such a great weekend!!! Sorry, about the lack of posts after a while on Sunday. Sam and I just got down to business! We were doing make in takes, and learning new techniques and meeting new friends! Plus, there was no wifi, so the uploading via my phone was draining my battery :-( But, here is some more stuff we made, got and learned!

Here is the goody bag I picked out! They were all different! I liked the birdies and all the glittery chipboard!

Another card!

Here is another project I made at the 12 hour crop at Charleston Scrapbooking! Merry Christmas! I made this card for the latest Caardvarks challenge! Challenge was make a holiday card with a diecut! The diecut was cut using a Cricut and SCAL for PC. It is similar to the Nestibilities Labels 9.

The above photo was taken with my phone on site mid Crop and doesn't do the card justice. I finally got some time to take the appropriate photos! Enjoy!
