Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving!!  I created these super cute card featuring Newton and he is excited for some Turkey and Ham!   I had a whirl wind of a Thanksgiving!  Cooked my 2nd Turkey of all time! Our Cable when out the night before and THANK YOU At&t for sending someone first thing in the morning. I felt so bad that they have to work the holidays. I figured it would be fixed on Friday. Either way I am grateful for the day I had!

It's my kinda of cup!

Happy Tuesday!  Today, I am expresso-ing my love for coffee!  Since, it's finally chilly here in Florida and feeling like the holidays (yes our tree and lights are up!).  I created these 3 fun coffee cups using the "Coffee Lovers" stamp set from My Style Stamps. 

It makes me thirsty just looking at them!  I hope you enjoyed my card and head on over to the My Style Stamps store to get this amazing stamp set.

Newtons Nook Designs Inky Paws Challenge #27

 

Hey there, Happy Friday! Today, starts a new Inky Paws Challenge from Newton's Nook Designs!  To play along enter your card here.  I used some brand new Viva Glitter Paste with a stencil on my card for a beautiful Glittery Gold Background on my kraft base.

I used Simply Sentimental and Wild Child stamp sets for my sentiment and focal point on my card.  I just love those penguins.

25 Days of Christmas Tags

Welcome to 25 Days of Christmas Tags!!!!  The Newton's Nook Design Team is playing along with several other companies to bring you 25 Days of Christmas Tags!  If you want to start at the beginning of the days be sure to click on Tracey's blog here. 

Now on to the tag!!!  I used the brand new "Jolly Tags" Coordinating Purr-fect Die Set to create the base of the tag.  Then stamped "Fox Hollow" to create this dreamy tag for any type of winter gift! 

With some easy copic coloring, distress ink and twine you have a quick and easy tag for your holiday gifts.  I hope you enjoyed my tag and be sure to check out the rest of the DT members and start from Day 1 to see them all!

Newtons Nook Designs November Release - Day 2

Welcome to Day 2 of Newton's Nook Designs November Release.  Today, we are showcasing "Simply Sentimental".  I just love the larger sentiments in this set to pair with coordinating words. It is a must have set for all occasions.  

I am hooked on Distress Sprays.  You get a great look with minimal effort.  I combined Ground Expresso,  Fossilized Amber and Abandoned Coral for a lovely Fall feel. I use an emboss resist technique first with gold embossing powder. For the finishing touch I added some leaf embellishments from a really, really, REALLY old sticker set from my stash.

Newtons Nook Designs November Release - Day 1

Welcome to Day 1 of Newtons Nook Designs November Release! Today, we are showcasing "Jolly Tags". Which also comes with coordinating Purr-fect Dies. Which are very easy to use. With or without the stamp set.   I went ahead and stamped out the cute penguin, because by now you should know my obsession with them.  With a craft knife I hand cut out his tummy to make a window for a shaker element.  I used micro beads, and there are a few curse words to be said when using them.....lol   While they look great, the are have static and cling to everything and one wrong move and they spill everywhere.  

I can't wait to put this tag on a special package for that special someone!
