Hello my scrappy friends!!! Welcome to the first day of the April Release for Newton's Nook Designs. I am super excited to show what's in store for April! Today, I am featuring Love Grows.
I Stamped the large flowers onto some vellum (so hot right now) with white pigment ink and clear embossing power for a soft look. I then took my favorite distress inks and used a small finger dauber to color them in with. I also stamped the Love U sentiment on vellum as well with Staz On ink. For the background I wanted something elegant, but didn't want to use more vellum and over power the card. So I dug out some plastic packaging that I saved and ran it through a die cutting machine with an embossing folder. I love love love this look! I stapled it down on all four corners and called it a day!
