Hello my Crafty friends!!! Today starts of Newton's Nook Designs March Release! I am SUPER excited to share with you the festive spring sets this week!
Let's get right into it an introduce you to Spring Showers! Which features this cute little ducky holding an umbrella. I went super messy, texture with this card as you can tell. I started with some watercolor paper and used Distress Inks and smooshed them down on my Tim Holtz mat, spritz with water and dragged my watercolor paper through it for a fun rainy watery effect! Then I topped it of with a rain stencil and some embossing paste!

For my second card I kept it real CAS (Clean and Simple). I was really drawn to the sentiment "Showers of Love" and wanted to demonstrate that with the set. So it finally hit me to make the umbrella catch the LOVE! I layered the cute cloud and cut out just the umbrella from the duck. Punched out some hearts and made them shower down from the clouds! To finish it of I dragged out my sewing machine and stitched around the edge.
