Got Vinyl?

Well since I was rearranging/organizing my scrap room for the bazillionth time. I decided to use some vinyl I had bought to good use! I cut it with my Cricut Imagine, Cindy Lou Cart and used the Cricut Branded Vinyl, it's the same stuff sign shops carry in a matte finish though.

It is just an ArtBin container that I housed my scraps in!

I thought it came out really cute! Enjoy!

Stampfest Orlando 2011!

Hey all!

It was a fun filled day today! Today was Stampfest 2011 Orlando! If you are reading this today (6/25/2011) and live in Orlando you can still go tomorrow! Stampfest is a smaller show versus the Scrapbook Expo. I like it better, it's less stressful and less crowded. I wanted to share the goodies I got today with you all.

Journey's into Fiber Art

Hi all! I was at our local Thursday night craft group and a lady brought in a necklace made of Trellis Yarn or Ladder Yarn. She said it looked so easy she bought one and was going to figure out how to make it. Well I found the yarn and found a tutorial and it's super easy!!! This was my first time crochet-ing. Check out my results! This would also look great on a layout page!!!

A few new things!

Hi all! I know I haven't been crafting latley! But, I have been up to a few new things! First, I revamped my Etsy shop a little bit. You can check it out here http://GirlracerScrap.etsy.com Please, take a moment to favorite my shop and/or do some shopping!

Second, I have been wanting to get into some knitting or crocheting. I purchased some yarn and got my Grandmother's needles and some hand me down hooks! I really want to incorporate this into my scrapbooking and cardmaking with 100% handmade embellishments.

Third, I did buy some molds from Mold Muse on Etsy and want to make some embellies using UTEE. After I saw Kelly Marie of Lawn Fawn make some (not using UTEE) I wanted to jump on that bandwagon instantly!
