Happy Tuesday! Today, I am showcasing my October DT Spotlight post for Kitty Bee Designs.  I used the Two of Hearts Raccoon Image that yo can get here.  

I colored him up with copic markers and placed him on my card with an old cut out from a Dear Lizzy patterned paper (shhh... I like to hoard things).  I spritzed my background with some Sprays and added some patterned papers. 

I love this cute raccoon so much. He is very versatile for a Valentines Day card, or just a random Love you card.  Thanks for stopping by!

STAMPtember Exclusive by Newtons Nook Designs

Happy Monday!!!!  EAK! I'm am so excited to announce Newtons Nook Designs has partnered with Simon Says Stamp to bring you a STAMPtember exclusive set and matching dies. This new set is called Bushels of Love and it features a lot of Newtons furry friends. 

The background for this card is a lot watercolor and spray mists.  I just love to play around and get all messy.  I really focused on my coloring and tried to stay within the lines!  It's really hard to do when there are dies for these images, which leave a thin white boarder.  I added some grass washi tape to ground the fox and placed some on the inside of the card and cut off a 1/4" on the top fold to let it show.  I think it adds a nice touch. 

Here is a look at the whole set and you get dies for all the images.  No fussy cutting around Winston and his pumpkin. Whew!

Newtons Nook Designs August Release - Day 1

Welcome to Day 1 of the August release for Newtons Nook Designs. Today, we are featuring Racoon Rascals!  I have to tell you this set is adorable!!!!!!  I just love this little guy hanging upside down to say hello.  

I mimicked  the tree branch with the woodgrain cardstock and kept it on the same angle as the branch.   To give an affect that he is sorta in a tree I added some clouds from the stamp set as well.
