For this card, I wanted to try a different approach. So I started off Heat Embossing the Turtle Image. Then, I used make up sponges to rub the Distress Ink in certain areas of the image. The raised embossed area resists the ink, so no need to be neat about it. Once, I was happy with the results of the ink I then sprayed with my homemade Glimmer Mist and let dry. Matted the turtle with yellow cardstock, tore the edges for a distressed look, added the sentiment, flowers and BAM! Finished! I really like the card and already have a few other versions floating around in my head.

Here is a card I did for Mothers Day. Though you could make this card for almost any occasion. I used the Create A Critter Cricut Cartrige. Added Googly eyes, Stickles and Cuttlebugged his belly for added texture. I like to cut my animals at 3 inches, not to big, not to small!Sentiment inside says, "Hoppy Mother's Day"Other titles could of been. Hoppy Birthday, Hoppy Father's Day, Hoppin' to see you, etc...MaterialsCardStock : Greens & BlueCricut Baby Bug & Create A Critter CartridgeGoogly EyesSticklesCuttlebug Embossing FoldersHave a Scrappin' Day~Danielle

Normally, I am not the kind of person to write down which brands of products I use. Probably, because I do not organize my scrapbook products in that manner. Though, for this card I decided to try it out. You will notice, my cardstock is just named by colors, which is how I organize them. I usually buy whats on sale, even though I really like the quality of the Stampin Up Cardstock, it's just a bit pricey.
