Newtons Nook Designs Holiday Release - Day 2

Welcome to Day 2 of Newtons Nook Designs Holiday Release. Today, we are show casing Beautiful Baubles and coordinating Die. This set is amazingly beautiful. I embossed these ornaments on vellum with gold embossing powder. For the string is just some metallic paper cut in thin strips.

Newtons Nook Designs September Release - Day 2

Welcome to Day 2 of Newtons Nook Designs September Release! Today, we are featuring "What A Hoot" and matching Purr-fect Dies. These owls are too cute and super fun and easy to color.

For this card I inked up a clear block with some distress ink and spritzed it with some water and smoothed it on the paper to create the green woodsy effect behind the owl. For extra dimenson I used the Purr-fect die cuts to pop up some extra leaves.

Thank You with Pineapples

Happy Thursday! Today, I am here with a card for Newtons Nook Designs. Featuring the stamp set Pineapple Delight. This set also has a matching die set if you hate to fussy cut.

I stamped my own custom patterned paper and filled in the background with the small swirls and hearts from the stamp set. Then I also made a coordinating piece of patterned paper for the sentiment. To make the main pineapple pop. I used a orange-y Coral color to stand out. I love creating my own background paper with stamps to make sure everything coordinates.

To make the sentiment stand out I layered it on some vellum. It adds just a small touch to the card. To finish of my creation I added some sequins.

Newtons Nook Designs June Release - Day 1

Oh my goodness I can't believe its JUNE! We have a HUGE release week to share with you. Today, we are introducing "Garden Starter" and Coordinating "Garden Window Die Set".

I kept the card a bit old school simple. I also decided I need to use some of my patterned paper that i've been hoarding. Some simple patterns make for a great card. I topped it off with some ribbon from my stash. Does anyone use ribbon anymore?? lol
