Newton's Nook Design's January Release - Day 1

Welcome to Love A La Carte by Newton's Nook Designs!  You just don't know how much I just LOVE this new set!  There are adorable images with accompanying cute sentiments. Would you like to win Love A La Carte???  Details at the end of my post!

For the first card, which is also featured on the Newton's Nook Designs Blog.  I colored the cutest little coffee cup with copic markers... really simple not much blending needed.  I then Layered it with some Vellum, which is really hot again and so fun to use!

For my additional card. I had this CRAZY idea for a stack of cinnamon rolls!!! Who wouldn't love a stack of cinnamon rolls?? Right?  MMMmmmm......   So, I made a couple of masks of the cinnamon roll to help stack them to make one stamped image.  Well, while I assembled the card....my little helper Nash decided to run off with my stack of cinnamon buns.  Yep! He decided they looked so yummy that we wanted one for himself.  After all the time I had in that image, I ran with it and decided to tell all the Newton fans of my Kitty Helper who sometimes makes scrapping difficult!

Check out the video below for a closer look!

  25. Your honey-bun card is SO much sweeter with the bite missing! Oh those furry friends...my dog bats my hand away from the computer keyboard when he thinks I've done enough blog-surfing. Both cards are fun--I'm going to use layered vellum on my next creation. So fun to see your work for Newton's Nook!

  26. Our furry friends are great helpers. Bear likes to pick up the paper scraps that fall onto the floor and chew on them. Not bad unless that is the one vital piece you need to finish the card. Love the sticky buns. think I'll go make some right now.
    Great card.
