Newtons Nook Designs Holiday Release - Day 2

Welcome to Day 2 of the Newton's Nook Designs Holiday Release!!!  Today, we are featuring "Festive Flamingos". Which is dear to my heart living here in Florida! It's like the state bird, ok well it's not, but it should be! lol  

For this card I used a stencil and some Viva Metal Effect Paint to create the waves background.  I popped up the window frame so it looks like the flamingo is peeking out.

Newtons Nook Designs Holiday Release - Day 1

Hey! It's Newtons Nook Designs Holiday Release week! Today, we are featuring "Holiday Smooches".  I created this fun card with an acetate front to reveal the distressed backdrop. I used washi tape as a hinge, it works great.  The penguins and the snow bank are attached to the acetate and the backdrop is inside with the sentiment. There is enough room at the bottom to write something special and not be scene from the outside. 

Quick Tip:  Pre heat emboss cardstock before it is attached to the acetate.  The acetate will melt and warp with intense heat.  Ask me how I know! lol

Happy Haunts Shaker Card

Hi there! Today, I am bringing you a fun shaker card featuring "Pick A Pumpkin Die Set" and "Spooky Street" from Newtons Nook Designs.  I used the Die Set to create a shaker window.  I just love shaker cards, they put a smile on anybody! They may be a pain in the butt sometimes, but the end result is worth it. 

I picked a sentiment from "Spooky Street" to finish the card off with some twine.  Get out there and spook someone with a cute card!

Lawnscaping Challenge #115

Hi there!!! I have some exciting news to share!!!  I am a Guest Designer this month for Lawnscaping Challenge!!!  WOOT WOOT!!!  If you are a lover of the ever so cute Lawn Fawn stamps, this is a challenge dedicated to them!  

This challenge is all about SENTIMENTS!  I combined the "Scripty Hello" Die Cut sentiment with a stamped sentiment  from "Sunny Skies" for my card.  I die cut the "Scripty Hello" several times and glued them together to make it POP off the card. 

Then, I took the You are "My Sunshine sentiment" from "Sunny Skies" stamp set. and just inked up the word sunshine.  Thus, to form "Hello Sunshine". To finish off the card I stamped at tiny heart and splattered some spray mists for a fun background.  Then, toped it off with some Sequins.

Newtons Nook Designs STAMPtember Exclusive

Hello!!!!  Today, I am introducing an Exclusive Stamp set for STAMPtember  by Newtons Nook Designs and Simon Says Stamp!  EAK!  I was so excited to hear the news of the stamp set I got butterflies in my tummy!

I did some watercoloring on Newton playing in the pile of leaves and paired him with some die cuts to look like he is on a farm.
